Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is with deep sadness that I am writing to inform you of the sudden and tragic death of Darragh O’Connell, a past pupil of LSP, nephew of a staff member and cousin of Alex, who is in 6th class. We learned of this sad news at the weekend. As a school community we are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sympathy and thoughts are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace. This is a terrible tragedy for the O’Connell and Conroy families and for our school community.

Darragh will be reposing at his home on Tuesday 25th September, with removal to Our Lady of Lourdes church, Childers Road on Wednesday 26th September for Requiem Mass at 11am.
