LSP 25th Anniversary Concert

Every class is working very hard on their singing and dancing routines for the concert in the Lime Tree on 17th and 18th February (Tuesday and Wednesday). All the costumes will be provided by Gerdi McGlynn, director. She has asked that all pupils wear black pumps and white socks for the performances. Some pupils may already have them but, if not, they are available from Shoe Zone (William Street and Crescent Shopping Centre) for €2.99. These will be useful for PE and basketball days afterwards.

Don’t forget to book your tickets at, (24 hours a day); From the box office at the Limetree from 2pm to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday); On the phone 061 774774 (12 noon to 5.30pm) or from 69 O’Connell Street (the former Belltable) 12 noon to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Spread the word. It will be a great show!

A reminder that as part of our Attendance Policy we would ask families to phone the school if your child will not be attending that day.

Beanbag Appeal

We’re looking for a large beanbag, large enough for a 12 year old child to sit on. Is there one in your house catching dust or decorating the corner of your bedroom that you could donate to the school? It would be greatly appreciated.

As you may be aware by now the Limerick School Project is marking its 25th year with a school concert titled “Magic of the Musicals”, which will be held in the Limetree Theatre on February the 17th and 18th.

In order to contribute to the significant costs of putting on an extravaganza like this, the Parent Teacher Association will be running a raffle on each of the nights. We are looking for donations of prizes. We hope to have five substantial prizes on each of the nights. E.g. a voucher, or an item, or a service etc. We are asking parents do you have a business, or a connection which could donate to this raffle.

If you think you can donate you can contact the PTA at

Or if you prefer, leave your details with Louise and we will get in touch with you.

We appreciate all contributions and all funds raised will go towards the show.

Thanking you!
