Welcome back to our first term of 2015. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy New Year.

We’re looking forward to a busy term ahead. Rehearsals have started in all classes for our 25th Anniversary Concert and excitement is building. Don’t forget to book your tickets. Tickets can be purchase on line www.limetreetheatre.ie (24 hours a day)

Choir resumes today after school. All pupils from 3rd – 6th are invited to come along and it’s free! The choir will be representing the LSP at the Peace Proms in February. This is a great chance to learn and practice singing with a professional choirmaster, to sing in harmony with your school friends.

Swimming for Rang I and Rang IV will commence on Wednesday 14th January for 10 weeks in Bawnmore Swimming Pool.

Basketball will resume as normal next week.

There are still some places left in the new junior afterschool basketball, (senior club is full) Cost €16 per child. Names and money to Louise. Also a reminder to those who signed up and didn’t yet pay.

Food containers left over from Winter Fair have been left on the windowsill in the foyer.

Art and Craft club will start on Tuesday 20th January. Cost €85 per child. Contact Tara on 087 7455202

Saving with Cyril will resume on Thursdays.

Children’s Music Workshops kicks off this Saturday, 10th January in the Limetree Theatre. Boris Hunka from Music Generation will work with children in fun ways on songwriting.  The full list of January dates are on www.limetreetheatre.ie with information on each workshop. They all run from 11.30am – 1pm here in the Tara building and you don’t necessarily need experience with an instrument for your child to take part. If you have children between the age of 8 – 12 years that are up for a bit of fun bring them along to the Lime Tree this Saturday for something very different! Booking €5 per child. Maximum 25 children per group
