Down Syndrome Ice –Cream Day will be held on Thursday, 7th June.

Our school sports day was held today in Mary I sports field. We had great weather and a good day was had by all.

 

Please ensure we have up to date phone and email addresses for you.

 

Enrolment

Do you have a baby or toddler at home that you intend sending to LSP? Please ensure that Louise has an enrolment form on file and check what number your child is. Siblings have right of entry only if enrolled before their first birthday.

 

 

 

 

PTA healthy recipe

 

Vegetarian dish with Spinach (Sabzi,

traditional Afghan meal)

Ingredients:

1.5 kg Frozen Chopped 

Spinach

3 Cloves Garlic

9 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons Dried Dill

3 Tablespoons Coriander

3/4 Cup Cilantro, chopped

1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Salt

3 Tablespoons Lemon/Lime Juice

Cooking Instructions:

In a large pan, heat oil over a medium heat. 

Add garlic and cook until golden brown. 

Add spinach and cook until the spinach defrosts and water begins to boil.

Add the dried dill, coriander, cilantro, black pepper, salt and lemon juice. 

Cover and cook for 15 minutes. 

For more flavorful dish, reduce to lowest heat setting and simmer for 10 more minutes or longer.

Serve with Basmati rice or flat bread and Greek yogurt.

This will be a workshop dedicated to supporting your child's transition from Primary to Post-primary school. Information is oriented to parents and families of 5th and 6th class students.
