Showcase Day is tomorrow Friday April 11th from 8.30am-9.00am in the front lobby. This is the launch date for the 6th class JEP project.  We designed and produced a board game on Irish myths & legends as part of an entrepreneurship project.  The game, which is suitable for families, will be available for sale tomorrow for €8.

The final count on the money from this year’s Book Fair was €1917.00. This means that we will get €1150.20 worth of books back for our school. Hope you are all enjoying your books and thank you to everyone for making the fair such a wonderful success.

This year’s Plant and Cake Sale is to take place on Friday 16th May. All the classes have been busy planting to have lovely healthy plants to sell on the day. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to help with this. With any luck we will have a lovely sunny break to help our plants to grow.  The Easter Holidays are a great time to plan dusting off the gardening tools and getting planting at home. Remember we always have room for another plant to sell and that plant you’re dividing might just be the one someone else has been searching for! If anyone would like to get involved or would like to know more please leave your details with Louise or email Sarah at pta.lsp@gmail.com.

Many thanks to Birgit, Wioletta, Iwona and Kaori who helped the Senior Infants decorate beautiful eggs!

Two children in Rang II have lost necklaces in the halla.  One has a red string with a little wooden ball.  The second one is a silver chain with a dolphin.  Please let us know if you have seen them.

Yesterday the Student Council planted potatoes, onion and garlic in the school garden.  We also will be planting carrots, herbs and lettuce.  It was fun getting our hands dirty!

The Student Council also hosted a Talent Show today.  Two acts from each class performed after being selected by their classes.  It was a fantastic, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable show.  Many thanks to the Student Council members who acted as MCs and well done to all the acts who performed.
