Limerick School Project is a democratically-run school and has clear structures in place through which all members of our school community can contribute their voice. Our school is subject to the provisions outlined in the Education Act (1998), to Department of Education circulars and to Ministerial guidance/instructions. In line with Section 15 of the Education Act, overall management of our school is the function of the Board of Management. The Board will occasionally request feedback from parents/guardians, pupils, staff, outside experts and members of our broader community before making a decision. It will sometimes consult with the Parent-Teacher Association or the Pupil Council, where the decision to be made would be enriched by more contributing voices.

The principal is tasked with managing the school on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Board.
