🌍 6th Class Take Part in Irish Aid Workshop
6th Class recently took part in an Irish Aid workshop, exploring how Ireland supports communities around the world and helps to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).
The session, led by Carmel, was interactive and engaging from start to finish. Through discussion and group activities, pupils learned about global citizenship, equality, and the positive actions we can take to make our world a better place.
The workshop linked beautifully with our ongoing classroom discussions about the kind of world we would like to live in — thinking about what we want more of and less of over the next five years.
Working together in groups, the class came up with thoughtful, creative presentations on their visions for the future. Exploring the Global Goals with such a knowledgeable facilitator was a fantastic experience for everyone! 🌎✨
