Our Senior Infants have been very busy learning all about Autumn! As part of their Aistear activities, the children have been exploring the changes that happen during this colourful season — from falling leaves to preparing the garden for cooler days.
One of our favourite activities this week was when the children rolled up their sleeves, took out their brushes, and got to work cleaning the “park area” of our classroom! They did a fantastic job keeping their learning space tidy and ready for new adventures.
The class also got their hands dirty planting spring bulbs — beautiful crocuses — which we can’t wait to see bloom when the warmer weather returns. Through these activities, the children are not only learning about the seasons, but also developing teamwork, responsibility, and care for the environment.
Well done, Senior Infants — you are true Autumn explorers! 🍂🌷
