Drumming Workshops
We are delighted to welcome Dave Morrissey to our school from Wednesday, February 4th for a series of drumming workshops for all classes. Over six weeks, each class will take part in a weekly session focusing on rhythm, teamwork, listening skills, coordination, and creativity.
In week seven, each class will give a short performance to showcase their learning, and parents and guardians will be invited to attend. Dates and times will be shared in next week’s Thursday note.
We would like to sincerely thank the PTA for generously subsidising this initiative. While the full cost is approximately €20 per pupil, families are only asked to contribute €5 per pupil. We really appreciate the PTA’s continued support in making this wonderful musical experience possible. 馃幎
Dave Morrissey is an experienced percussionist and workshop facilitator who delivers interactive drumming workshops in schools, working with children of all ages and abilities. His sessions are inclusive, energetic, and designed to build confidence while encouraging cooperation and self-expression through music.
