Sixth Class have been busy exploring the flags of the world over the past few weeks. Through a variety of games, online resources and hands-on map work, the children developed a strong understanding of different countries and their flags, while also building their geographical knowledge.
To bring this learning to life, each student chose flags they felt a connection to and created a beautiful piece of artwork inspired by it. The results were both creative and meaningful, with each piece reflecting a personal story, interest or heritage. It has been a lovely way to celebrate diversity and creativity within our classroom following in from Intercultural day at the end of March.
