Pop-Up Gaeltacht for Seachtain na Gaeilge

To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge, 6th Class set up our Pop-Up Gaeltacht in the yard once again this year. The class created colourful signs with lots of useful Irish phrases to encourage everyone in the school to use a cúpla focal during yard time.

Pupils around the school can now try out phrases like “An bhfuil cead agam?”, “Ar mhaith leat imirt?”, “Go raibh maith agat” and “Conas atá tú?” while playing and chatting with their friends.

It has been wonderful to hear more Irish being spoken around the yard, and 6th Class hope everyone enjoys practising their Irish and keeping the Gaeilge beo sa chlós!
