Fourth Class recently held a book club where pupils worked in small groups. During the session, they met in their groups to chat about the books they had all read in the previous month. They shared a summary of the plot, the characters, and their favourite parts. They also asked each other questions and took part in a short question and answer discussion at the end. This is a great way for the children to develop their speaking and listening skills and to get ideas about the book that they might like to read next.
In maths, the children were busy learning about capacity. They did lots of hands-on activities including exploring the capacities of different containers and playing a game to guess how much liquid their partner had poured into a cup.
A Massive Thank you to Advik’s Dad who came to our class to talk about life in India to to everyone for the wonderful projects you presented.
