Our 6th class began by learning about the origins of Halloween, discovering how it all started with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain in Ireland. From there, we explored how Halloween traditions have spread and changed around the world — from pumpkin carving in America to lantern festivals in Japan. To showcase what we learned, everyone created amazing, colorful posters highlighting the unique customs, foods, and costumes from different countries. It was a fun, creative way to celebrate global traditions while remembering Halloween’s Irish roots!
