Sixth Class

Scríbhneoireacht Gnásúil – Procedural Writing as Gaeilge

Sixth Class have worked really hard on their genre writing as Gaeilge. We explored procedural writing in English first, and then the pupils took on the challenge of studying this genre as Gaeilge! Their procedural writing was put to very good use at the end, when they had to use their steps as Gaeilge to make Rice Krispy Buns!

In Sixth Class we have been looking at constellations and star signs. We all decided to do our own unique star sign and we looked at the personality traits of each. Some of us came up with our constellations and we also looked at known constellations such as The Hunter, Orion’s Belt, Major Axis and Minor Axis. Here’s a sample of the artwork that we put together!
