Sixth class got the opportunity to go bird watching in the park with Geoff Hunt. They tracked what birds they saw and the habitat they found them in e.g. in the tree, grass, on a building etc. Geoff played bird calls to try and attract certain types of birds and it worked, three Bluetits came looking for their friend! We also had the chance to analyse our data back in the classroom and discuss. We learned a lot about identifying different birds and about tracking them and also got to draw some Robins as a finisher. Thanks Geoff!
